The requirement is for the following:
1 JOB: In support of 224th Military Intelligence Battalion currently utilizes ForeFlight Dispatch as a primary means of flight planning for domestic and international flight planning procedures. The software provides installed performance planning parameters per tail number, with the ability to file with the FAA directly or forward to the local military base operations. The program simplifies the flight planning process, provides additional standardization, and increases maximum shared understanding between the aircraft commander, briefing officer, and mission approval authority.
Estimated period of performance 01 August 2021 – 31 July 2024.
The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), ForeFlight LLC is the sole and exclusive provider for the ForeFlight Dispatch software.
The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 16:00pm EST on Tuesday, 15 June 2021, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
