II.1.4)Short description:

The Project is a part of the water sector rehabilitation programme consisting of a series of municipal investments that aim at improving water and sanitation services in Republic of Srpska, in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Project will include construction and rehabilitation of water supply, wastewater and storm water infrastructure in the participating municipalities. The overall objective of the Project is to contribute to the improvement of the living conditions of approximately 216 200 inhabitants in Republic of Srpska, securing adequate water supply and sanitation services after project completion. The following types of works are eligible under the Project: rehabilitation, modernization and extension of water supply infrastructure, wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure and storm water collectors. The following consultancy services are eligible under the Project: support to Project management unit and Municipalities, Project preparation, studies, design.

The Project is a part of the water sector rehabilitation in approximately 35 municipalities throughout the Republic of Srpska, in the Bosnia and Herzegovina.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Works contracts with the following technical content: rehabilitation, modernization and extension of water supply infrastructure, such as water intakes, water treatment plants, raw or treated water transmission mains, water supply networks including pumping stations and house connections; rehabilitation, modernization and extension of wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure, such as sewer networks including house connections and pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, purchase of specialized vehicles; rehabilitation, modernization and extension of storm water collectors.

Supply contracts for the purchase of specialized vehicles and equipment for water utility operation and maintenance.

Services contracts covering technical assistance support to Project Implementation Unit and participating municipalities, such as preparation of studies, tender documentation and design, and supervision of works.
