Tender Details
The New South Wales Environment Protection Authority (the Agency) is seeking proposals in relation to the required services of a supplier to clean-up the former waste oil processing facility at 62 Kyle St, Rutherford (the Premises).
The specific objectives of the project are to:

Manage the spill containment system to prevent the discharge of contaminated wastewater from the Premises for the duration of the project; and

Render the Premises infrastructure safe and non-polluting such that:
-
the risk of infrastructure failure and liquid waste polluting the environment is removed; and
-
rainfall and surface water on the Premises can be lawfully discharged from the Premises without off-site treatment and disposal.
Through engaging the services of a successful respondent, the Agency will give effect to the varied Notice to prevent the discharge of contaminants to the environment at the Premises.
Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Agency is seeking to identify appropriate solutions which:

can be performed in a manner that at all times is lawful and minimises environmental, economic and social risks for the scope and duration of the project;

are cost effective in the medium to long term.

represent value for money; and

ensure an efficient and reliable provision of the solution.

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
