Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Title: High Performance Computation Node Expansion

Description:

The National Institute of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM), intends to award a sole source purchase order for the Center of Technology (CIT) to Hewlett Packard Enterprise, for High Performance Computation Node Expansion. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811212-Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance. HPE is the only responsible source known to provide the services needed.

It is NLM's intent that the proposed action may be awarded on a sole source basis to HPE under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Contractor Objectives and Tasks:

The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance.

Sole Source Justification

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, HPE is the only organization who can provide the services needed.

This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, all interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications which will be considered by NLM. Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Damian Hurge, Contract Officer at hurgeda@mail.nih.gov  by 12:00 PM EST on, September 20, 2020. Proposals must include pricing information. No late responses will be accepted.
