  Specific Procurement Notice______________________________________________________________________________________________ Invitation for Bids [IFB]   IFB Number: DRSLPII/SL/W3/OCBN/003/2021 LOT 2 Employer: Save the Children International, Hargeisa office Project: Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in the Horn of Africa- Project II (DRSLP II) Contract title: Construction/Rehabilitation of Feeder Road in Somaliland- 33KM from Gebiley to Caada (Lot 2) Grant No.: TSF 5900155007902 & ADF 21OO15502891 Procurement Method: Open Competitive Bidding (National) OCBN No: DRSLPII/SL/W3/OCBN/003/2021 LOT 2 Issued on: 20-Dec-2021   1.     The Intergovernmental Development Authority “IGAD” has received financing from the African Development Fund hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Programme in the Horn of Africa-Project II (DRSLP II), Save the Children International as the Implementing Agency (IA) intends to apply part of the proceeds of the project toward payments under the contract for Construction/Rehabilitation of Feeder Road in Somaliland- 33KM from Gebiley to Caada (Lot 2).   2.     Save the Children International, Hargeisa office now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction/Rehabilitation of Feeder Road in Somaliland- 33KM from Gebiley to Caada (Lot 2) for a period of 9 months.  3.     Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), OCBN  procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework dated October, 2015 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.  4.     Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Save the Children International, Hargeisa office via email – sci.drslpii@savethechildren.org and inspect the Bidding document during office hours at the address given below.  5.     The Bidding document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a request via email to sci.drslpii@savethechildren.org quoting IFB reference DRSLPII/SL/W3/OCBN/003/2021 LOT 2 in the subject line. Interested bidders who require a printed hard copy of the Bidding document may obtain the document upon submission of a receipt showing payment of a non- refundable fee of USD 25 (USD Twenty-five) for reproduction and mailing costs. The method of payment will be direct payment to SCI Hargeisa office in Hargeisa town.  Note: The bidding documents sent via email will not require payment of fees.   6.     Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 3 February 2022, 10:00 hrs. local time.   Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
