  Invitation for Bids Date: 20 October 2021 Loan No. and Title: 49329-BAN:  Second City Region Development Project Contract No. and Title: CRDP-II/LGED/DHAKA/SAVAR/NCB/2021/W-06: Improvement of Road in Savar Upazila under Dhaka District under Package W-06   Deadline for Submission of Bids: 25 November 2021, 14:00 hours (Bangladesh Standard Time) 1.     The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Second City Region Development Project, and part of the proceeds of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.  2.     The Local Government Engineering Department, District: Dhaka (“the Employer”) invites bids (e-Tenders) from eligible Bidders for the following Works ("the Works"):  Package No. Description CRDP-II/LGED/ DHAKA/SAVAR/NCB/2021/W-06 i) Improvement of road from Dhaka-Aricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam (Ch.0- 7807m) (Road ID # 326722005) including 3905m link road; ii) Construction of 5 Nos. U-Drain (0.625m x 0.600m) on Dhaka-Aricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam road (Road ID #326722005); iii) Construction of 1.20m x 1.20m cross drain at Ch.  5395m on DhakaAricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam road (Road ID # 326722005); iv) Construction of 5.00m x 5.00m Box Culvert at Ch. 6435m on Dhaka-Aricha (RHD) at 22 Mile to Shimulia GC via Nolam road (Road ID # 326722005). 3.     National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB's Single-Stage: One-Envelope Bidding Procedure through electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB as described in the Bidding Documents.  4.     Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualification should participate in this Bidding:  ●     Specific Similar Experience: at least one (1) contract of similar nature, complexity and methods/construction technology successfully completed within the last five (5) years, with a value of BDT 305,000,000. ●     Average Annual Construction Turnover: The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than BDT 755,000,000 over the last five (5) years. ●     Liquid Assets or Credit Facilities: The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Bidder shall be BDT 95,000,000.  The complete eligibility and qualification requirements are stipulated in the Bidding Documents.  5.     This is an online bidding where only e-Tender (e-bid) will be accepted in the Bangladesh National e-GP System Portal and no offline/hard copies will be accepted.
