Synopsis:

PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT:
This solicitation is for commercial services IAW FAR part 15

TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE:
This acquisition will be a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside pursuant to FAR 6.203 & FAR 19.502-2. The NAICS Code selected for this acquisition is 561720, which has a size standard of $18 million average annual revenue.

PLANNED CONTRACT INFORMATION:
The intent is to award  one (1)  Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract as a result of the solicitation. The planned duration for the contract is a total of five years, consisting of a one year base ordering period and four one-year option periods

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SERVICES TO BE PROCURED:
The intent of the solicitation is to acquire services for  The Directorate of Public Works (DPW), U.S. Army Garrison - Alaska who has a requirement for custodial services. The requirement requires the contractor to provide all management, labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and transportation necessary to perform the custodial services at various buildings located at Fort Wainwright, Alaska and the Range Control Training Facilities. DPW requires a contractor to perform in a manner that will maintain satisfactory facility conditions and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Full details will be provided in the PWS, which will be posted with the RFP.

PLANNED SITE VISIT AND PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE:
A site visit and proposal conference is planned.  Details and procedures for the site visit are provided in the Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 of the solicitation.
