Czech Tourism NTO will prepare and organize communication activities to increase visibility of European Destinations of Excellence in the Czech Republic, which will be selected in 2015. The general objective of the “European Destinations of Excellence” (EDEN), i.e. “to draw attention to the value, diversity and shared characteristics of European tourist destinations and to promote destinations where the economic growth objective is pursued in such a way as to ensure the social, cultural and environmental sustainability of tourism” will be addressed specifically in the field of “Tourism and local gastronomy” as specified by the Commission. There will be a marketing mix used to fulfil the main objectives for each route, consisting of : online activities, print campaigns, PR activities, participation on fairs/exhibitions and Award Ceremony.
