| Short description Cloghan Playground - Design, Supply and Installation of Playground and Equipment Detailed description Site Specific Work Requirements For the Design, Supply and Installation of Play Equipment including surfacing For Cloghan Community Playground Group At Birr Road, Cloghan, Co. Offaly. 1. INTRODUCTION The contract will be for the design and construction of a new playground, at St Rynagh’s Football Club. All Tenderer’s must complete a tender breakdown and a form of tender as attached. Please note that this specification should be read in conjunction with the attached site plan. Please note that each tenderer is required to visit the site prior to submitting their tender proposal. The design for the playground should cater for children up to the age of 12 years. During the construction phases the GAA Pitch and Walking/Running track will continue to be open to the public. 2. TIMELINES This contract is for the supply and installation of a playground on the above named site, it is essential that the project is completed and the client invoiced for completed work on or before 31st July 2018. Key dates: a. Invitation to tender/ tender documents released: 19th March 2018 b. Tenderers proposals submitted: 6th April 2018 c. Tender assessment/ final negotiation/ contract awarded: 21st April 2018 d. Commencement of work: May 2018 e. Substantial completion:(8 weeks from commencement date) 3. SCOPE OF WORKS The scope of works and subsequent contract is for: a. preparation of the site, b. preparation of the ground, c. installation of required surfacing and clear boundaries and kerbing d. the supply and installation of all play equipment, e. the supply and installation of safety surfacing, e. the installation of all stormwater drainage, f. the supply and installation of fencing g. making good of the site All access requirements, insurances, health & safety requirements and inspections will be the responsibility of the contractor.
