https://devbusiness.un.org/content/econsult-armenia-logistics-teacher-training-stem-education ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1271812- Armenia- Logistics of Teacher Training (STEM Education) Assignment Countries:- Armenia ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The World Bank is seeking the services of a firm or individual(s) (will be referred to as the Firm going forward) to implement logistical planning and event coordination activities related to teacher and senior school administration training activities. The teacher training itself will be undertaken by an experienced teacher training Firm in all 80 schools in the Tavush region to emphasize modern, student-cantered pedagogies and innovative methodologies for effective delivery of STEM education on the basis of skill development. The Training will involve close coordination and planning with project committees and sub-committees inclusive of both international and local subject-matter experts. The logistics Firm hired will be expected to organize and manage multiple meetings and workshops to ensure a smooth operation and implementation of the Training, including the following: a)Ensure smooth logistical preparation and execution of the events; b)Prepare, send out, and confirm invitations; c)Arrange needed procurements of meeting packages, venue booking, and other supporting materials and stationeries; d)Prepare list of participants, design and send invites with reminders prior to the events; e)Produce and record notes of meeting proceedings in Armenian and English (notes can be translated into English after each meeting); f)Be the person-in-charge in logistics during the meetings and workshops; g)Prepare and circulate press release (teacher training Firm to write) if needed h)Work in close communications with the teacher training Firm that will be hired to deliver the actual trainings. The selected Firm should have 3-5 years of successful event management experience. The Firm should have experience collaborating with local departments of education and local NGOs. The Firm should provide own computers, equipment and materials necessary for the performance of the expected deliverables outlined above. The duration of the service contract will be until summer of 2021. The Firms that are shortlisted will be required to prepare a Technical Proposal and a Financial Proposal based on templates that will be shared by the World Bank team, as per World Bank procurement rules. FUNDING SOURCE The World Bank Group intends to finance the assignment / services described below under the following:- EU4Innovation STEM Pilot in Armenia INDIVIDUAL / FIRM PROFILE The consultant will be a firm. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
