https://devbusiness.un.org/node/760357 ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1275543- DELIVERING AGRIBUSINESS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (ALP) TRAINING TO MACADAMIA COOPERATIVES IN MALAWI Assignment Countries:- Malawi ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The IFC is currently working with Global Tea and Commodities Limited in Malawi, through its subsidiary Sable Farming, to support the client to expand its existing engagement with 3000 smallholder macadamia farmers in the Mzimba and Thyolo districts. The objective of the work is to prepare smallholder macadamia farmers to establish long term outgrower supply agreements with Sable Farming which requires trained and well managed farmers and cooperatives. The 3000 farmers are organized under four (4) recently formed macadamia cooperatives, and the IFC advisory project will support the professionalization of the cooperatives using IFCs globally standardized capacity building program, the Agribusiness Leadership Program (ALP). IFC aims to contract a qualified ALP trainer (firm) also referred as the Consultant to deliver the ALP training to the 4 macadamia cooperatives in the Thyolo and Mzimba districts. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
