ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Life-skills curricula resources for economic inclusion programs in Bangladesh Assignment Countries:- Bangladesh ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION This consultancy will support the economic inclusion program being implemented under the Recovery and Enhancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE) project of the Government of Bangladesh, based on financing provided by the World Bank. A critical part of the economic inclusion program includes life-skills training, which will be mandatory content taught to beneficiaries, although the exact curricula (content) and mode of delivery (length and frequency of sessions) will vary by whether the beneficiary is in the apprenticeship or receiving business management training. As part of the World Banks technical assistance to the RAISE project, the World Bank is seeking a firm that will be able to prepare a preliminary core curriculum of life-skills that could be used as a resource by PKSF and the curriculum development firm(s). SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest. Expressions of Interest should be submitted, in English, electronically through World Bank Group eConsultant2 (https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html) NOTES Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding. Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification.
