ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW National Consultant for Disaster Risk Management and Climate Resilience Mainstreaming in the rural communities of Cambodia Assignment Countries:- Cambodia ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The World Bank plans to provide technical assistance to the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) to mainstream disaster risk management (DRM) in rural areas through analytics that supports resilience building of land tenure security, agricultural and social services, and small-scale infrastructure. A National Individual Consultant is sought to implement DRM mainstreaming of communities planning activities conducted as part of the Cambodia Land Allocation for Social and Economic Development Project III (LASED III). The activities under this assignment focus on Mainstreaming Disaster Risk Management and climate resilience into rural Communities. Two activities, namely, Task 1.1. identification of candidate communities and development of the DRM and resilience mainstreaming framework for rural investment, and Task 1.2. Pilot-testing of the DRM mainstreaming and resilience framework in selected communities, are envisioned for this position. Duration of assignment is 60 days. FUNDING SOURCE The World Bank Group intends to finance the assignment / services described below under the following:- Cambodia- Mainstreaming of Disaster and Climate Resilience in Rural Areas (GFDRR) ELIGIBILITY Eligibility restrictions apply: Cambodia National Consultants preferred. INDIVIDUAL The consultant should be an individual. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, etc.).
