ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1277564- Readiness Support Plan for Carbon Pricing in Botswana Assignment Countries:- Botswana ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The World Bank is seeking to hire a consultant firm to lead the development of a readiness support plan (RSP) for Botswana for consideration by the World Banks Partnership for Market Implementation Trust Fund. The proposal is expected to be developed in consultation with relevant government and non-government stakeholders, and is expected to outline the role of a carbon tax based on the broader climate policy landscape in Botswana. The RSP will also describe the supporting structures, enabling environment, and project implementation arrangements for a country program related to the design of a carbon tax. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest.
