Assignment Description   The Global Road Safety Facility (GRSF) is a donor-funded global partnership program hosted by the World Bank, with a mission to help address the crisis of road traffic deaths and injuries in LMICs.   The objective of this activity is to develop and pilot a mobile phone application that would provide local authorities with citizen-driven and-evidence-based information on critical locations along children route to schools for road safety interventions and campaigns. Pilot application should gather information about the unsafe zones, spots and routes from home to school and vice versa. With the assistance of Parents (babysitters/grannies) that while accompanying and dropping off their kids in school is a basic and crucial information for defining the safest routes. In terms of policy making the results and analysis of the data collected will serve for a better planning and development of the projects that will improve road safety around school zones. Pilot application should be intuitive and easy to use, digital map based, and not geographically bound.
