Overview :

The consultant will engage targeted Young Key Population by employing the following:

 

  • Use innovative approaches to provide Peer education for and outreach to young people in and out of school, children and adolescents who are commercially or sexually exploited, and street youth;
  • Address gender inequalities through life skills building for boys and girls;
  • Address cross-generational and transactional sex through campaigns for social change; Ensuring access to comprehensive sexuality education
  • Provide information on access to youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services, including diagnosis and treatment of STIs and HIV counselling and testing and referral to HIV treatment, care and support services (in a form that young people can understand)
  • Involving parents and adults in community and school-based HIV awareness and prevention activities;
  • Use mass media to raise awareness, promote public debate, reduce stigma and discriminations and promote gender equality;
