1.The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received for financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Quality Infrastructure Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract: Procurement of Desktop & Laptop computer, Photocopier and Scanner.

2.The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration (MoRTI)  now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement for Procurement of Desktop & Laptop computer, Photocopier and Scanner as indicated below:

3.   Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

4.Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, 2016 and is open to all eligible bidders  as defined in the guidelines.

6. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable ETB (Local currency) 200.00 or equivalent amount in easily convertible currency The method of payment shall be in  cashier’s cheque or CPO to the Ministry of Trade and Industry- National Quality Infrastructure Development Project (MoTI-NQIDP).  The cost of the bidding document can be deposited in CBE. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 2:00 pm local time on April 29, 2022. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.

8. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below by 2:30 pm local time on April 29, 2022.

9. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security to the amount stated against each lot in the following table in ETB or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

10. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document
