Description
https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/71e5a491-b117-4a37-a686-73e07b0f80d0This is an exciting opportunity to support the Department for International Trade (DIT) in developing its approach to the delivery of a UK Pavilion (UKP) at the next world exposition: Expo 2025 Osaka, in Japan.
This potential contract would be for the provision of International Content Design Services (ICDS), and would be a fundamental, strategic contract to support the delivery of a UKP at Expo 2025, and likely be in place from mid 2023 through to the end of Expo in October 2025 - although all timelines are subject to change.
The potential supplier who was awarded a contract, (if this procurement is run), would be responsible for interpreting the UK's theme statement (which is still to be confirmed) into an engaging visitor experience, which informs, entertains, and promotes the UK as a world class destination for tourism, education, business and trade.
A more detailed description of DIT's current, high-level thinking towards this requirement can be found in the "Provisional Specification" document attached to this notice.
(Please note that this specification is subject to change and is in a draft format only).
Through this Early Engagement, DIT is looking to engage with suppliers in the market that may eventually, if a procurement is run, consider bidding to deliver this contract.
DIT wants to understand:
- Market Capability
- High-Level Costs
- Supplier Feedback on Approach
- What information suppliers would need to form quality bids
- Innovations in the market that DIT is unaware of
- The capability of the market to deliver on Social Value and Environmental policy objectives through provision of the services
If you are interested in this potential opportunity, and, if a procurement for this requirement is eventually run, your organisation would consider bidding, DIT would like to engage with you and discuss.
To do this, please follow the steps described below:
Step 1:
Please complete the questionnaire attached to this Early Engagement Notice (EEN) and submit it to the email stated in the "Contact Details" section of the EEN.
The deadline to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) and completed questionnaire is: 12:00 BST on 12/05/2022
Step 2:
Following the submission deadline, DIT will be in contact to arrange a meeting to discuss your thoughts and opinions on this potential requirement* as well as your responses to the initial questionnaire.
DIT will offer face-to-face or virtual meetings (via MS Teams).
The meetings will most likely be held w/c 23rd May 2022.
*Should DIT receive a high number of EOIs and completed questionnaires, it reserves the right to not arrange meetings with all those that have submitted an interest and questionnaire.
If this is the case, there may be future opportunities to engage in pre-market engagement, should DIT decide to run a procurement for this.
Step 3:
Following this meeting, DIT will request you update the responses to the questionnaire and resubmit within five (5) working days.Status: planningStreet address: Department for International Trade, Old Admiralty Building Locality: LondonPostal code: SW1A 2DYCountry: England
