The Ministry of Economy has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Fiji Social Protection COVID-19 Response and System Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) includes a Project Officer Western – Jobs for Nature 2.0 (JFN2) for the Ministry of Environment. The Project officer will assist the Project Technical Coordinator in meeting the JFN2 operational objectives; in accordance with the provisions in the legal agreements between the World Bank and the Fijian Government. The Project Officer will provide administrative and technical support while working under the overall direction of the Project Technical Coordinator and will be directly supervised by the Project Technical Coordinator.
The Project Officer will work with relevant staff and service providers, in accordance with procedures defined in the JFN2 operations manual. The estimated duration for the above position is expected to be up to three (3) years.
