Georgia CONNECTIVITY AND LOGISTICS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CLIP) Road/Logistics Sector GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Loan No./Credit No./TF No./Grant No. (TBD) Project ID No. P173782   The Government of Georgia has applied for financing in the amount of US$ 120 equivalent from the World Bank towards the cost of the CONNECTIVITY AND LOGISTICS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CLIP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project.   The project will include the following components:   No. Title Component 1 Connectivity Improvements on the Eastern Corridor 1.1 Civil Works for Construction of Sagarejo-Badiauri Highway Section – approx. 17km 1.2 Construction supervision and quality assurance services Component 2 Enablement of Private Sector Participation in the Construction and Operation of an Integrated Logistics Center (ILC) in Tbilisi 2.1 Technical Assistance (TA) for the preparation and structuring of a PPP transaction for the ILC 2.2 Financing of public infrastructure in the development of the ILC Component 3 Institutional Strengthening and Implementation Support 3.1 Project Management Support and Capacity Building (RDMRDI) 3.2 Project Management Support and Capacity Building (MOESD)   Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers for Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, dated November 2020, Fourth Edition, and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations. After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided no objection.   Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank’s external website and web-page of the Roads Department of Georgia   Prequalification/Initial Selection of suppliers and contractors will not be required.
