VII.2.2)Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee (Art. 43(1)(c) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(c) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(c) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

Λόγω της παλαιότητας του στόλου των οχημάτων και μηχανημάτων έργου του Δήμου, παρουσιάστηκε μεγάλος αριθμός εκτάκτων βλαβών που ήταν αδύνατο να προβλεφθεί. Επιπλέον, λόγω της πανδημίας COVID 19 μεγάλο μέρος του τεχνικού προσωπικού απουσίαζε σε άδειες (ειδικού σκοπού, καραντίνα, αναρρωτικές) με αποτέλεσμα να μην επαρκεί για την πραγματοποίηση τόσο της τακτικής συντήρησης όσο και για την επισκευή εκτάκτων βλαβών και κατά συνέπεια να είναι απαραίτητη η ανάθεση των εργασιών αυτών στα εξωτερικά συνεργεία. Για αυτούς τους λόγους μέχρι την 31/12/21 είχε εκτελεστεί ποσοστό που ξεπερνά το 82% του προϋπολογισμού των συμβάσεων με αποτέλεσμα τα υπολειπόμενα ποσά να μην επαρκούν για την επισκευή και συντήρηση των οχημάτων και των μηχανημάτων έργου μέχρι τη χρονική λήξη τους.
