The Inter University Council for East Africa has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Horn of Africa Coordination Support Team Fiduciary Institution and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) for the two positions are summarily below;
Administrative Assistant: coordinating the daily operations of the HoAI Coordination Support Team, including administration, office management. Travel arrangements and fulfilment of related administrative formalities
Communications Specialist: Design and implement a comprehensive communications strategy, supported by relevant action plans, to raise the visibility and generate support for the HoAI and its key actions and activities.

Inter University Council for East Africa now invites individuals ELIGIBLE to work and stay in Kenya for the proposed period of the contracts to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested individuals should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services in their updated curriculum vitae.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
Consultants will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
