The goal is is to make the island of Videy better known as an interesting outdoor recreation area and a unique venue for history, nature and culture. The stated policy is that island of Videy will be an interesting and accessible destination that attracts city dwellers and tourists with a special emphasis on families all year round.In collaboration with Borgarsögusafn and the City of Reykjavík, the operator will participate in the ongoing development that supports the above goals.An agreement will be reached with one operator for both service aspects, water transport and restaurant operations.
