WIPO is planning a series of activities in a move towards a “Public Cloud First” policy.
WIPO expects to migrate the equivalent of several hundred servers and multiple terabytes of data to Public Cloud Services within the first year of Cloud adoption, and would expect that to rapidly grow as its migration to the Cloud accelerates.
We are pleased to invite you to submit a proposal in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP) No. ICTD/17/086/RFP concerning the provision of Public Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (“IaaS”).
WIPO intends to award framework agreements to two or more successful bidders per lot, in order to ensure a suitably competitive choice of approved providers for as many of WIPO’s applications as possible going forward.
The scope has to cover the following:
Provision of Public Cloud IaaS fulfilling all WIPO’s mandatory requirements, together with strong responses to WIPO’s technical evaluation criteria:
- Lot 1 (Global Public CSP)
- Lot 2 (Public CSP located in Switzerland)
Bidders may submit proposals for Lot 1, Lot 2, or both.
