With reference to the ITB for Materials and Appliances for Energy Efficiency Measures under SES Project of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea dated on 28 August 2017, UNDP hereby informs you the following updates:
- the Delivery Term(CPT Pyongyang Border site or DAP 15 project sites in DPRK) is changed to “DAP 15 project sites in DPRK “
- Evaluation method to be used in selecting the most responsive Bid: (☒ Non-Discretionary “Pass/Fail” Criteria on the Technical Requirements; and ☒ Lowest price offer of technically qualified/responsive Bid based on CPT Pyongyang Border Site or DAP (to all 15 project sites) is changed to “☒ Non-Discretionary “Pass/Fail” Criteria on the Technical Requirements; and ☒ Lowest price offer of technically qualified/responsive Bid based on DAP (to all 15 project sites).”
- The contents of 3a, 3b and section 7 are also amended. For details, please refer to revised Section 3a, Section 3b and Section 7 in the Annex of this Amendment.
Except the changes mentioned above, all other contents of the ITB remain unchanged.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to this ITB for Materials and Appliances for Energy Efficiency Measures under SES Project of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.Attached please find the detailed Invitation to Bid.
Your offer, comprising of a Technical Bid and Price Schedule, should be submitted in accordance with Section 2 of attached ITB. (Your offer may be submitted on or before 6:00 PM September 15, 2017 and via e-mail, to bids.china@undp.org, attention: Procurement Unit. The email transmission must be limited to a maximum of 5 MB, virus-free and no more than 4 email transmissions, PDF files only, password protected, and Price Schedule should be separated from Technical bid.)
You are kindly requested to submit an acknowledgment letter to UNDP to the email address: bids.china@undp.org no later than 8 September 2017. The same letter should advise whether your company intends to submit a Bid. If that is not the case, UNDP would appreciate your indicating the reason, for our records.
