ESB is now seeking expressions of interest to obtain a place on a qualification system that will be established for EPC companies to design, supply, build and maintain energy storage systems in Ireland and the UK, including ESB, ESB joint ventures (existing or yet to be formed), ESB subsidiary companies or companies the ESB Group has a minority interest in. The energy storage systems are intended to be used to provide DS3 ancillary system services in Ireland /frequency response service in the UK and energy storage capacity. Applicants must be able to provide the full scope of services of an EPC contractor.
