Tender Details
Alcohol Interlock service providers can apply for accreditation to provide service to Mandatory Alcohol Interlock Program (MAIP) participants. MAIP is a court ordered requirement for drink driving offenders to serve a period of licence disqualification, followed by a minimum period of participation in the interlock program, which requires an interlock device to be installed in the offender’s vehicle.
Accredited Service Providers are required to manage the installation, servicing and removal of interlocks across NSW, and the provision of interlock data to RMS/TfNSW. Providers are responsible for approving and overseeing a network of interlock installers and service personnel as part of delivering the services.
The NSW Government would like to invite organisations to become accredited as a provider.
