Within the framework of the “Integrated Forest Ecosystem Management Project” under the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of The Kyrgyz Republic Loan IDA # 57430-KG, Grant IDA # D0950-KG and GEF Grant # TF-A0750 Request for Expression of Interest Consulting services GEF/IFEMP/CS/CQS/2021/1_ Natural Capital Accounting and Climate Change impact on forest ecosystems (Hiring a company) The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank agreed on the allocation of funding Loan IDA, Grant IDA and Grant GEF for the implementation of the "Integrated Forest Ecosystem Management Project of the Kyrgyz Republic" and intends to use part of these funds for the procurement of consulting services for the Natural Capital Accounting and Climate Change impact on forest ecosystems (Hiring a company). The PIU, within the framework of the Integrated Forest Ecosystem Management Project under the State Agency on Forestry under the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Regional Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, invites eligible consulting companies ("Consultants") to express their interest in providing the service. Interested consultants should provide information confirming that they have the necessary qualifications and relevant work experience to perform the service. Minimum qualification requirements:- At least three years of experience in in researches of climate change, forestry, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, or other relevant fields.- At least two years of relevant experience in climate change, eco-system accounting services, and forest accounts.- A proven experience in climate change mitigation, carbon inventory, ecosystem services valuation and reporting.- At least two successful projects/contracts from previous experience of similar work in the KR. Interested consultants are kindly requested to pay attention to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank Guidelines: “Guidelines for the Selection and Recruitment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers on IBRD Loans, IDA Loans and Grants” issued in January 2011 and revised in July 2014 (Service Guidelines), in which sets out a World Bank conflict of interest policy, this guide can be found at the following website: www.worldbank.org/procurement The consultant will be selected in accordance with the “Qualification Selection” method specified in the Services Guide.
