Helse Møre og Romsdal needs ultrasound apparatuses for the hospitals in Kristiansund, Molde, and Volda for the start-up of early ultrasound.
So as to be able to start with the offer in February, the contest is being held as an accelerated procedure.
In addition the main apparatus at the birth, maternity and gyn. outpatients clinc at Volda Hospital has broken down.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
We envisage that ultrasound apparatuses in the mid-range(+) categories will be relevant for the establishment of an early ultrasound offer. We will place an order for 3 apparatuses as soon as possible, and a further 1-3 apparatuses could be ordered during 2022 or possibly 2023.
We envisage a high-end apparatus for the field will be relevant to replace the broken down apparatus in Volda.

Justification:
Due to clarifications around central financing, scope, necessary laboratory analysis capacity, and the start-up date for the tender being sent late to the health trust, we are in a situation where Helse Møre og Romsdal have a very short period to procure the ultrasound apparatuses.
