Contract K3101 sanitary installations comprises traditional pre-treatment of tap water, processing and distribution, with the accompanying hot water circulation system.
Two-sided water intake, side one from the existing C building towards the west. Connection after the new pre-treatment plant and conveying through building C. Conveying in the new building to the technical room. Side two from Noreveien in the east by the contractor for water and sewage disciplines.
The tap water from side two is pre-treated before the pipes branch for cooling and fire extinguishing. All tap water goes through a finishing process in order to protect against biological growth.
The contract also includes traditional sewage installations where the upper floors are lead out by gravity, whilst the lower floors are lead to the wet well and pumped out.
Two installations are planned for sewage in particular due to the danger of radiation. One system in M1 for proton treatment with holding tanks on the bottom floor, and a system in L2 in the north for sewage from the Iodine Room with holding tanks on the first floor.
After the correct storage and monitoring, both systems will emit sewage to the municipal pipeline network.
The contract also includes all dewatering of roofs and halations. Another contractor has a system for delaying, amongst other things, in the form of growth on the roof.
Sanitary equipment is to be delivered by this contractor, with the exception of a number of sinks that will be delivered by the contractor for the fixed fixtures. This is because they must be assembled in a distance plate that is delivered ready and complete to the building. Basins in worktops and stainless steel worktops with basins will also be delivered by others.
Contract K3101 will convey and connect cooling to equipment cooled by water, which is decisive for the hospital's operation, such as cooling for UPS centres and communication rooms. And to fire hose cupboards in wall niches and on stands.
Separate conveying network with less pre-treatment for these consumers.
Contract K3101 will deliver, assemble, and connect pure water installations to disinfection rooms, research areas, and for the analysis laboratory.
The pure water installations will be delivered by a sub-supplier, who will have the total function responsibility for the water quality and capacity. Contract K3101 will deliver, assemble, and convey connection to suction installations for diathermy extraction. This consists of a ready made suction pump and a pipeline system with motor operated valves.
Particular attention is drawn to the fact that this contract includes the delivery and assembly of a joint suspension system for the main technical supplies along a joint supply route (all corridors and joint supply routes in the canteen, goods reception and technical rooms on levels 4 and 7) for technical installations. The suspension system is described in item 29.1 and in the attachment Annex C7.
