II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
In the period 2019-2020, 400 000 m2 of seabed has been covered with clean masses, and the most polluted masses are dredged up and responsibly places in a deep water disposal site in the middle of the harbour pool, in an oxygen-free area in order to ensure that the pollutions are no longer bioavailable.
The monitoring is a collaboration between Forsvarsbygg (the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency) and Horten Municipality with support from the Norwegian Environment Agency.
The contract involves execution of a monitoring program. The details of the monitoring activities are described in Annex 3 quantity description.
