II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The work's nature and scope.

The contract comprises operational and maintenance assignments, with function responsibility for some of the assignments, on county roads, and county foot/bicycle paths with associated side installations, side areas, equipment and installations in Tromsø municipality in accordance with the road list given in chapter D2-V1 and D2-S20.

The work will be remunerated by round sum for round sum processes, in relation to amounts and unit prices for other processes such as cost-plus work in accordance with the hourly rate for crew and machinery.

The contract period is from 2022-09-01 to 2027-08-31 for all of the described assignments.

Mutual option for extending the contract for 12 months. Both parties to the contract must agree on such an extension. The option period extends from 2027-09-01 to 2028-08-31. An option must be agreed between the parties at least 12 months before the conclusion of the contract period.

The road network included in the contract (including arms and ramps) consists of:

263.1 km roads in total,

including

240.8 km county roads

22.3 km of foot/cycle paths.

The traffic on the road network varies from approx. AADT 100 to approx. ADT 21000. An annual traffic increase is expected of approx. 1.0 %.

The assignment mainly consists of routine operation assignments and minor maintenance assignments on the road network. The assignment also consists of inspecting and registering, planning the activity, stand-by for winter operations and general traffic management, documentation, reporting to the builder, information to the public and management of other assignments required for the operation and maintenance of the road network.
