OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. This cooperative agreement will support the development of a comprehensive guide for the crime victims’ advocacy field to increase public awareness of crime victim issues nationwide during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) in April 2023, and throughout the year, and begin preparations for the 2024 NCVRW theme narrative.
