Limeburner’s Creek National Park, Goolawah National Park and Goolawah Regional Park are coastal reserves between Port Macquarie and Crescent Head in New South Wales. These reserves provide conservation of important natural and cultural values, while their scenic attractions ensure their popularity as a recreation destination for both day and overnight visitors. Provision and maintenance of appropriate recreational opportunities and facilities to encourage public use and enjoyment of national parks is an important management objective.
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking to engage interested parties to provide campground management services at visitor precincts within Goolawah National Park, Goolawah Regional Reserve and Limeburner’s Creek National Park. The number of visitors to the park has been slowly growing and in many areas site capacity has been reached during holiday periods. It can therefore be assumed for the purposes of this tender that visitor numbers will remain similar to present levels over holiday periods but may increase over shoulder and low periods.
