Description
1. The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals ( IRMCT), Arusha Branch seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from duly registered for an establishment of a long term contract for the requirements listed below : a) Provision of Customs Clearance for the shipments coming to Arusha, Tanzania through airport and seaport and with exit formalities at Tanzania border, on an as and when required basis. The main commodities to be cleared are, but not limited to: i. Vaccines ii. Drugs and medical supplies iii. Vehicles, motorcycles etc. iv. Various Machinery v. Educational materials and vocational materials vi. Office supplies and equipment vii. IT equipment, Telecommunications equipment, consumables etc. viii. Medicines and hospital/laboratory equipment b) Provision of Cargo Handling Services. 3. More details for the requirement will be included in the solicitation documents. 4. The proposed term of Contract/s shall be for an initial two (2) year period with an option to extend for an additional three (3) years of one (1) year each (“1st ,2nd and 3th Optional Extensions”) at the sole discretion of the IRMCT and subject to the satisfactory performance of the Contractor 5. Please note, this is NOT an invitation for submission of Offers. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested to participate in the solicitation when issued. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UN-IRMCT reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time. 6. Companies interested in being considered for shortlisting for receipt of the UNIRMCT solicitation document are requested to submit a clearly written Expression of Interest therein specifying the company's profile, as per Vendor Response Form attached hereunder providing 6.1 Company's contact details ( address, contact person, active telephone numbers as well as functional e-mail contacts; 6.2 Company's profile 6.3 Company's United Nations Global Market (UNGM) Registration Number 6.4 Copies of valid Business Registration . 7. The interested Companies must complete the VENDOR RESPONSE FORM clearly marked “EOI- for the Provision of Customs Clearance and Cargo Handling Services to IRMCT,Arusha Branch " and return it to mict-procurement@un.org , copy fariala@un.org before the closing date of Friday , 30 July 2021 at 14:00 hrs, Tanzania local time. UNIRMCT reserves the right to reject EOI’s received after the deadline indicated below.
