The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites qualified Contractors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the tender process for Provision of Online Media Monitoring, Analysis Services and Media Contacts Database and Press Release Distribution Services for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The UN Environment's News and Media Unit provides media monitoring and analysis services for the entire organization in order to: a) Effectively monitor media pick-ups of press releases that they distribute; b) Track all mentions of UN Evironment on news outlets; c) Measure the effectiveness of campaigns; d) Evaluate the impact of communication materials; e) Monitor the conversation about the organization and key environmental topics and f) Assess the public perception of the organization. As a global organization, UN Environment strives to monitor online, print and broadcast media as well as blogs in as many countries and languages as possible. The Contractor shall provide an online tool to monitor media, distribute press releases, publicize and analyse coverage based on robust search terms in differrent languages. Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms to pdnairobi@unon.org. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Vendors which in UN's sole discrition are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
