High Life Highland, on behalf of the Highland Council, are seeking to appoint an experienced creative agency to develop and create interactive content inspired by stories of the Highlands and Islands gathered from local communities, to increase engagement with visitors, extend the tourist season and encourage sustainable and off the beaten track travel. These assets may include, but are not limited to, AR models in the landscape, audio recordings, visuals, ebooks, QR codes, travel blogs, games, incentives or animations.
The audio and visual content created will be used to enhance the Spirit: Journeys interactive story map platform to encourage more geographically dispersed travel around the region and create authentic connections with local communities. This tender includes provision for the Contractor to create bespoke routes or trails using audio and visual content to guide visitors through the Highlands and Islands.
