The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) intends to establish a contract for the environmentally sound management and disposal of hazardous waste and the removal and safe disposal or treatment of contaminated soil from/at all UNMIK premises in Kosovo. The Contractor shall manage the collection, removal and disposal of hazardous waste, generated by UNMIK in an environmentally sound manner from all UNMIK locations in Kosovo: Pristina (Log Base, Disposal Yard and UN Clinic), Mitrovica (Log Base and UN Clinic), UN Office in Peja and 10 Repeater Sites all over Kosovo. The number of collection points could be increased or decreased depending on UNMIK specific needs. This Contract is intended to be issued for one (1) year, with the possibility to extend for another four (4) additional one year periods (1+1+1+1).
