The National Medical Stockpile (NMS), a branch of the Office of Health Protection and Response, is requesting an open tender for the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The NMS stocks medical supplies for distribution to various medical and health sectors. Due to the recent impact of new COVID-19 Omicron variant, and the subsequent increase in demand for appropriate PPE, the NMS is securing more stock to ensure ongoing supply.
The NMS is expecting to procure the following items:
1. Protective Eyewear and Face shields
a. Facial protection including face shield
b. Protective non-prescription glasses
2. Gloves
a. Non-sterile gloves
3. Gowns
a. Isolation gowns
4. Masks
a. P2 masks/N95 masks
b. Surgical masks
Clinical Waste Bags
Must meet specifications outlined in RFT – Schedule 1, Table A: PPE replenishment for the NMS and minimum standards.
