Overview : REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) TO CONDUCT BASELINE ASSESSMENT - BUILDING RESILIENT COMMUNITIES, WETLAND ECOSYSTEMS AND ASSOCIATED CATCHMENTS IN UGANDA PROJECT Background The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is supporting the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and is financing a project titled “Building Resilient Communities, Wetland Ecosystems and Associated Catchments in Uganda Project” (PIMS 5711), implementing through Government of Uganda (GoU), under the Ministry of Water and Environment (MWE) in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) and Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA). In relation to the above, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is extending support to conduct a Baseline Assessment between June 2022 and September 2022. The project is currently implemented in 24 districts including Kabale, Kisoro, Kanungu, Ntungamo, Bushenyi, Buhweju, Mitooma, Rubirizi, Sheema, Rukungiri, Rubanda, Rukiga, Budaka, Pallisa, Ngora, Bukedea, Mbale, Kaliro, Namutumba, Kibuku, Butebo, Tororo, Butaleja and Kumi. UNDP Uganda is seeking to hire qualified Consultancy services to undertake a Baseline Assessment - Building Resilient Communities, Wetland Ecosystems and Associated Catchments in Uganda Project.
