The Northern Dimension Environmental Partnership (NDEP) Support Fund, administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), was established in 2002 with the objective of delivering environmental improvements and reduction of risks associated with the nuclear legacy in North-West Russia.

Joint Stock Company Federal Centre for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (JSC FCNRS) is the Recipient of the Grant Implementing Agreement No. 007B signed with the EBRD for funding the work prior to the establishment of the system for handling and transport of spent nuclear fuel at Andreeva Bay in North-West Russia.

This notice updates the General Procurement Notice for this project published on the EBRD website on 20 August 2015.

The following services, works and goods are planned to be covered by the project:

• Consultancy services to support the project management unit and provide site operator services and design supervision;

• Supply, installation and infrastructure improvements of a Transformer Station for Andreeva Bay Power Supply including:

- design and construction of Transformer Station infrastructure and installation of equipment.

It is expected that tendering will start in quarter 3, 2016. The estimated cost of the project is approximately Euro 8 million.

The tendering process will be subject to the EBRD's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any Country.

The proceeds of the EBRD's grant will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
