The African Union-United Nations Operations in Darfur (UNAMID) will shortly conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the commercial sale of assets at UNAMID Log Base, El Fasher, Darfur, Sudan. An indication of the items to be sold are as follows: • Generators • Vehicles (Trucks, 4x4, Pick-up, Minibus, Civilian bus 25-seater) • Heavy equipment (flatbed) • Sea Containers • Water Storage (soft) • Water desalination unit • Standalone complete septic system • Back wash drainage • Electrical submersible pump • Wastewater Analyzing equipment • Support wires for submersible pumps • Pipes (various types and size) • Water tanks • Screws • Tiles • Nails • Washer • Cylinder locks • Wood/Timber • Air Conditioners • Water Heaters • Doors • Angle bars • Gypsum Board • Office stationery • Accommodation (prefabs) • Cement Companies interested in participating in the solicitation exercise are invited to express their interest by returning the Vendor Response Form via email to unamid-procurement@un.org no later than the EOI Closing Date, along with the following documents: a. Name of company; b. Address, email, and telephone number of the company c. The company’s business registration certificate and license; d. Contact details of the authorized representative of the Full technical details and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing of this EOI. However, it should be noted that the items are being sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, and without recourse or warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including warranties of quality, merchantability, or fitness for particular purpose. Specific requirement may be further stipulated in the solicitation documentation. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNAMID reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be included in the solicitation exercise.
