Description of Work:
The SICH Division is responsible for architectural design, engineering, integration, development, maintenance, data management and operational support of the corporate enterprise solutions including ongoing support, maintenance, development and upgrades to the PeopleSoft HRMS system. The Department is currently on a Government of Canada (GC) version of PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 and planning to upgrade to HCM 9.2. The objective is to implement an integrated system that leverages the current environment and best practice processes; improves the quality, accuracy, relevance and timeliness of information; and will harmonize and streamline the processes that strengthen GAC's operations.
As part of the GC overall approach, the project starts with a technical assessment covering the strategy and planning activities, in order to ensure readiness to proceed to the "Build and Implementation" phase of the project.
The technical fit gap analysis will cover the PeopleSoft modules (–Section 6) currently implemented as part of the GAC-HRMS application. It will also include the strategy to implement GAC-HCM 9.2. The strategy needs to include the analysis between the GAC HRMS 8.9, HCM 9.1 (with the GOC My GCHR customizations) and commercial HCM 9.2.
