Supply and Delivery of ICT Equipment and Office Furniture for Lesotho National Single Window.

  1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UN Development Business of April 2014

 

  1. The Kingdom of Lesotho has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Private Sector Competitiveness and Economic Diversification Support Project - Phase II, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of ICT Equipment and Office Furniture for Lesotho National Single Window (LNSW).

 

  1. The Principal Secretary for Ministry of Trade and Industry now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Delivery of ICT Equipment and Office Furniture to Lesotho Revenue Authority (LRA) to support Lesotho National Single Window.

 

  1. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 2011 Revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

 

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain bidding documents from the Project Management Unit, Project Manager (Mr. C. Mokuku) email: mpotsane@psc.org.ls; with a copy to rrapakeng@psc.org.ls) and inspect the bidding documents during office hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the address given under paragraph 9 below.

 

6.  A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders  upon payment of a non-refundable fee LSL300.00 (Three Hundred Maloti) or its US$ equivalent.  The method of payment will be Bank Transfer or Bank Deposit. Bank details are as follows:

7. Bids must be delivered to the address indicated under paragraph 8 below on or before 22nd April, 2022 at 1200hrs. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who may choose to attend at the address shown below on the same date (22nd April, 2022) at 1205Hrs.

8.         All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security (in a form of a letter from the bank) of a minimum: M5,000.00
