This is a replacement for a current contract. The contract is for the SQA Academy to provide training material to internal and external users. The current environment is hosted and maintained by E-Learn Design (ELD) using cloud-based servers and architecture. This is reliable and enabled ELD to keep SQA servers patched and up to date with the current latest versions of the Moodle software. The hosting solution comprises a single large web server for the live sites, a single smaller web server for the UAT Sites, a clustered database server for live & UAT and load balancers in front of the live web server to allow for increased capacity.
Suppliers must be able to provide the Moodle Software.
SQA want to keep the split solution that we currently have, a single large we-server and a clustered database service. No external load balancers are required.
