Description

1. PURPOSE

The purpose of this Request for Proposals for Services ("RFPS") is to invite proposals from qualified institutional consultancy firms to conduct a Technical, Social and Management capacity assessment on the status of existing Water Supply, Drainage Infrastructure and Solid Waste management in following small towns of Somalia as fully detailed in the Terms of Reference/Statement of Work attached at Annex B

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION PROCESS

Submission Deadline. The deadline for submission of proposals is:

08th December 2017 at 10.30 a.m. Nairobi Time

a)   Electronic Submission of Bids

The tender may be sent by email only to the following email address: SomaliaTenders@unicef.org

The tender must be submitted in PDF format and in three separate folders as follows:

I.   Bid Submission Form

II.  Technical Proposal

III. Financial Proposal

The email with the tender shall contain only the following information in the subject line:

The tender reference, a short Description and the deadline date.

For example: LRPS-2017-9136016: Capacity Assessment on the Status of Existing................."

UNICEF will send an automatic reply via email once your email has been received.

You are required to resend your tender if you do not receive confirmation

It is a good idea to compress or ‘zip’ your response to save space and reduce upload time. It is strongly recommended to do this if your file(s) are in excess of 10MB in total.

UNICEF reserves the right to reject without further evaluation tenders arriving received in the inbox after he deadline, or those which have been submitted to the wrong email address or which use the wrong heading.  By submitting a tender the Tenderer accepts all the terms and conditions set out in the Invitation to Bid and Bid Specifications including the annexes

Bids can be hand-delivered and placed in the Tender Box at the

UNICEF Somalia Support Centre Offices.  The sealed envelopes should be labelled as follows:

Envelope 1: for technical proposal (Note: Technical proposal does not contain prices) sealed and marked as follows:-

-Name of company

-RFP Number

-Technical proposal

Envelope 2 for price proposal sealed and marked as follows:-

-name of company

-RFP Number

-Price proposal

Outer Envelope:  Containing bid form, envelope for technical proposal, and envelope for price proposal

Envelope is sealed and marked as follows

Any proposals received by UNICEF after the Submission Deadline will be rejected.

Proposal Opening.  Due to the nature of this RFPS, there will be no public opening of proposals.
