Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is inviting suitably experienced and qualified organisations to pre-register their interest to participate in the procurement process for the delivery of the M1 Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace: Black Hill to Tomago (“Black Hill to Tomago”).
Black Hill to Tomago includes a 10 kilometre dual carriageway motorway link between the M1 Motorway at Beresfield and Tomago, with major interchanges at Black Hill, Tarro and Tomago. Black Hill to Tomago includes construction of nine bridges including a Viaduct approximately 2.6km long across the Hunter River and floodplain.
The M12RT delivery strategy includes construction via two collaborative Design and Construct (D&C) contracts:
- a southern D&C contract (known as Black Hill to Tomago) to deliver the southern 10km of M12RT, with an interface located at Tomago; and
- a northern D&C contract (known as Heatherbrae Bypass) to deliver the northern 5km of M12RT.
This Pre-Registration of Interest is for Black Hill to Tomago only.
To successfully pre-register interest organisations must:
1. be (or be able to be) prequalified with TfNSW:
a. under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts, at the prequalification class of F75 (Financial) or above
OR
b. under the Technical Services Registration Scheme for both Complex Road Design and Complex Bridge Design;
AND
2. follow the instructions outlined in the attached document titled “M1 Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace: Black Hill to Tomago Pre-registration of Interest”, including, but not limited, to section 4.
TfNSW may determine (in its absolute discretion) that it is appropriate to consider a late registration request.
