YPO is the lead organisation for this opportunity, working in collaboration with ESPO and NEPO to procure a national insurance service for the wider public sector.
YPO is looking for insurance providers with the ability to provide services for various categories of insurance cover to various types of public sector organisations including for example, local authorities, education providers, central government, police and fire services. The insurance placement DPS is designed to allow YPO, NEPO and ESPO customers, including brokers acting in agency on behalf of customers, access to conduct further competitions to appoint single or multiple insurance providers to provide a wide range of insurance services as is categorised in detail within the documentation.
This DPS will be supported by a separate insurance brokerage framework for the appointment of a broker by a customer, ensuring YPO is able to provide a full insurance solution for the public sector.

YPO will incorporate a standstill period at the point of notification of the acceptance to the DPS for the first round of the establishment. The standstill period will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, and provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the DPS is made available for use by YPO Customers.
The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
