Overview :

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hereby invites you to submit a Proposal to this Individual Consultant Procurement Notice (IC) for the above-referenced subject. 

Description of the Assignment: The consultant will support the implementation of the Regional socio-economic integration strategy for migrants from Venezuela through the mapping mentioned in the Objective and the set of recommendations to address the identified barriers. For that mapping, the Consultant will work closely with Minister of Labour and other labour governmental entities at Guyana, as well as private sector stakeholders, NGO´s and UN Agencies related to labour migration, and of course, Venezuelan migrant workers and Venezuelan migrants seeking for a job at Guyana. For the mapping, a gender approach will be necessary and a set of recommendations to address
the identified barriers.

Within the scope of the consultancy, one aspect which may warrant special attention is the one of COVID related response. Some employability support measures were introduced and/or expanded as part of pre-existing measures in the spirit of COVID relief. It would be important to determine whether those changes brought about as COVID relief (during 2020 or 2021) have been: dismissed, maintained, maintained, and expanded.
