6.Contract description:

The contract consists in the supply and installation of laboratory equipment for the National Food Authority and its regional laboratories, as well as for the Food Safety and Veterinary Institute in Tirana, Albania. The equipment will be utilised for analysing and monitoring samples of food, animal and plant materials for compliance with relevant Albanian legislation.

7.Indicative number and titles of lots:

Lot 1: laboratory benches.
Lot 2: gas chromatography systems — physico-chemical testing equipment.
Lot 3: liquid chromatography systems — immunological and molecular biology testing equipment.
Lot 4: microbiological testing and general laboratory equipment.
